Phase 2

You think about your hip at least once or twice a week, especially after certain activities push your limits.

Your hip pain isn’t usually bad enough to see a doctor, but it might lead you to take pain medication or rest for the day. If you get an X-ray, results could range from mild to severe arthritis, though the diagnosis may not match how your hip actually feels.

At this stage, you’re likely searching for stretches, exercises, or treatments to ease flare-ups. You may have tried physical therapy, Google, or YouTube for solutions.

Some stretches help for a few weeks, but their effects fade. Walking and cycling might feel good initially, but after a month or two, progress stalls—or even makes things worse.
